Iowa Health Hospice

Iowa Health Hospice works to improve the health of the community through healing, caring and teaching. They will have a therapy dog present for interaction along with handouts on how people with dogs can get involved.

Des Moines Rowing Club

This club encourages central Iowans to be physically active while enjoying the Des Moines River. Stop by to learn about their Learn to Row program and the September Des Moines Regatta.

UU Children’s Theatre

ISU Polk County Master Gardeners

Do you have gardening questions? At the Market you can talk to a Master Gardener who can provide current, research-based, home horticulture information on various topics: vegetable gardening, tree care, pet-friendly gardens, & shade gardening. Kids can enjoy coloring activities.

Get excited about Camp Fire USA’s upcoming programs and events, especially Summer Camp for 2012.

Des Moines University will offer the oportunity to take a quick questionnaire about diet and daily intake. They will highlight and promote locally grown and produced products sold throughout the farmers’ market. Vegetarian Community of Iowa

The Vegetarian Community will be promoting the group and their events by offering literature and engaging in conversation about the group as well as vegetarianism in general.

Brenton Skating Plaza

Providing an opportunity to color pages of ice skates using colors, buttons, and stickers. They will be promoting their opening day for the season in November 2012 and will have information about ice skating classes.
