The Downtown Farmers’ Market presents Iowa producers from 51 counties across Iowa, offering fresh fruit, vegetables and so much more every Saturday, May – October. You’ll find fresh herbs, beautiful flowers, farm fresh eggs, local wineries, a delicious assortment of goat cheese, an endless selection of baked goods, and many varieties of Iowa raised meat such as beef, pork, chicken, turkey, goat, rabbit, lamb and tilapia.

All metered parking is free on weekends, recommended street parking on the bridges or around the perimeter of the Market.
The Bike Valet sponsored by Prairie Meadows allows cyclists to ride their bikes to the Market and park safely while shopping and exploring Downtown Des Moines. This free service is operated by a Bike Collective staff person. Cyclists park their bikes on special racks in the bike corral, which is in a secure, safe area in the parking ramp. In addition to free parking, the Bike Valet also offers an air pump and mini tire changing workshops. The Bike Valet is located on the southeast corner of 2nd and Court.
