Street Parking

All metered parking is free on weekends, recommended street parking on the bridges or around the perimeter of the Market.

Bike Valet

The Bike Valet allows cyclists to ride their bikes to the Market and park safely while shopping and exploring Downtown Des Moines. This free service is operated by a Bike Collective staff person and is sponsored by DriveTime Des Moines. Cyclists park their bikes on special racks in the bike corral, which is in a secure, safe area in the parking ramp. In addition to free parking, the Bike Valet also offers an air pump and mini tire changing workshops.

This free service is located on the street level of the Avenue parking ramp at Second and Court Avenue and is available 7:30 a.m. – noon every Saturday during the Downtown Farmers’ Market season. The Bike Valet is a collaborative effort with the Des Moines Bicycle Collective, DriveTime Des Moines and the Downtown Farmers’ Market.
